Ag competition
Four wildlife and recreation classes of Wes Harris competed in the fourth annual taxidermy/tanning competition, which included best cleaning, scraping and tanning of a hide. Students have learned how to properly skin an animal, safe handling practices and basic tanning procedures. The first-period class won the contest, earning a pizza party.
