James Standridge

A memorial service for James B. Standridge, 73, of Weatherford was Oct. 19, 2007, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford. A private burial was Oct. 18 at Tin Top Cemetery.

Mr. Standridge died Oct. 17.

He was born Oct. 23, 1933, in Hamlin, the son of Velma and A.J. Standridge.

Mr. Standridge was a 1962 graduate of TCU.

In retirement, he enjoyed music and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Frances Standridge; sons, Brian and wife, Susan, Randy and wife, Amy, and Brad and wife, Amy; grandchildren, Sarah, B.J., Erik and Roman; a brother, Mackey, and wife, Dorothy; an aunt; and numerous
