The Lampasas High School boys' soccer team will be hosting an alumni scrimmage against the varsity team on Jan. 2, 2008, at 7 p.m. at the varsity soccer field.

Interested alumni should be soccer lettermen and need to leave a contact number for coach Greg Porter at 556-2327. The first 20 alumna to respond will make up the team.

The National Wild Turkey Federation Hunting Heritage Banquet is scheduled for Feb. 7, 2008 at the Howard Johnson Inn in Killeen.

Tickets are $40 for men, $35 for women and $15 for children. Admission includes an annual membership, a meal and entry to the auction. The organization serves Harker Heights, Killeen, Copperas Cove, Lampasas and surrounding areas.
