Freshman girls stay unbeaten

The Lampasas High School freshman girls' basketball team improved to 15-0 with a 37-18 win at Lake Travis on Friday.

Jennifer Herron led the team with 13 points and added five rebounds and three assists. Falon Holland recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Marisa Bogart had nine points, four assists and four steals, and Madison Morris had eight points.

LHS Girls JV 40, Lake Travis 37: The junior varsity girls evened their record at 8-8 on Friday, outscoring the Lady Cavs 11-4 in the fourth quarter.

Lori Stafford led the team with 16 points, and Kayla Lowery scored 12. Kaylyn Urofsky scored seven points and recorded a teamhigh six assists.
