Church event

St. Mary's Episcopal Church will offer a dramatic reading of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" Sunday at 7 p.m., featuring members of the church's vestry.

Church women will serve cookies and hot apple cider in the parish hall following the presentation.
