For the community's kids
Hundreds of motorcyclists throughout Central Texas traveled from Temple to Lampasas to deliver toys for the annual Tri-County Toy Run, many decked out in their holiday finery. At the local AMVETS post, cyclists were treated to a chili dinner while representatives from local charities picked up their goodies, ready for Christmas delivery to needy families. Witnesses noted the line of motorcycles stretched at least five miles, and many drivers and their passengers pulled over on the shoulder of the road to wave their thanks and express appreciation for the task at hand.
