Cell phones recycled to raise funds for charity

Lampasas Recycling is working to raise funds for Lampasas Mission and St. Mary's Catholic Church food banks, Lampasas Fire Department Toys for Tots program and Lampasas Child Welfare Board.

Residents are encouraged to donate old cell phones to be recycled, with 100 percent of the proceeds to benefit local charities.

Anyone with phones is encouraged to drop them off at Ace Hardware, Lampasas Recycling or National Bank on Key Avenue.
