Los Diablos, Texans set for 'Battle of 190 Bowl' The Lampasas Boys and Girls Club Youth Football League has teamed up with the City of Copperas Cove Youth Football League to form the "Battle of 190 Bowl." The game is designed to give the first-place team from each league an opportunity to compete with the first-place team from another city. The game will feature 10-, 11- and 12-year-olds and is scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m. at S.C. Lee Junior High's Hanke Field. The game was originally scheduled for Bulldawg Stadium but was moved because of a scheduling conflict. The teams will be playing for the House Cup, a traveling trophy, which will feature a plaque that documents the score of each year's game. The trophy will reside at the league office of that year's winning team. Lampasas is sending Los Diablos, while Copperas Cove will be represented by the Texans. Each player will receive a T-shirt, commemorating the game. T-shirts will also be sold to fans for $10. Admission to the game is $1. Los Diablos are coached by Jesse Ramos, David Thorp and David Whitis. Players include: Felipe Valles, Lynn Ledford, Shrader Davis, Ricardo Acevedo, James Radenz, Sal Gallegos-Ayala, Juan Fuentes, Chandler Yates, Jeremy Hughes, Daniel Radenz, Tanner Tucker, Paul Rivas, Jimmy Gill, Joshua Riffel, Laine Wiggins, Marcus Morua, Kalen Tait, Cutter Estep, Devin Dickens, Brandon Yoho, Tyler Lindeman, Tim Lindeman, Logan Davis and Dallas Kidd. |
