Sculpture repaired at park

      In the summer of 2006, "Meadow Dancers" was installed in the Hanna Springs Sculpture Garden in Lampasas. The sculpture consists of three large, colorful butterflies placed in a triangular arrangement.

Juniors to have ring ceremony
      Lampasas High School's Junior Class Ring Ceremony is Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium. The ceremony will honor all junior students. Family members are invited. Each student will be presented their ring and/or pin. A reception will immediately follow.

      Scott Windrum, founder of WindSong Ministries, will be at the Monday meeting of Lampasas Lighthouse of Aglow International at 7 p.m. at Holiday Inn Express. Windrum founded WindSong Ministries in November 2002. The name represents the anointing of the Holy Spirit in his ministry and music.

      Classics at the Classic has moved its December gathering to Saturday. Participants should plan to gather in the back parking lot of Storm's Drive-In around 1:30 p.m., for a 2 p.m. departure. They should arrive in Llano at 3:30 p.m.

      The Cross Country Band will be in concert Sunday at 5 p.m. at School Creek Baptist Church, 13 miles northeast of Lampasas on CR 3420 between Rumley and Izoro. The six-member group -- hailing from various points in Texas -- is anxious to share the gospel with their audience.

      Minnie Hamilton of Lampasas announces the birth of her daughter, Olivia Elizabeth, born Nov. 29, 2007, at 1:09 a.m. at Georgetown. At birth, Olivia weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces and was 18 inches in length. She joins a brother, Jonathan Hamilton.
