Funeral services for Rosa VanLiew Yates, 92, of Fort Worth are Dec. 7, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at Westworth Church of Christ in Fort Worth. Graveside services are at 4 p.m. at Kempner City Cemetery in Kempner.
Mrs. Yates died Dec. 3 at a Fort Worth hospital.
She was born in Robstown and grew up in Lampasas, moving to the Fort Worth area in 1950.
Mrs. Yates was a member of Westworth Church of Christ and a former member of 27th Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Henry M. Yates, and wife, Barb, of Shelton, Wash.; daughters, Edith "Edie" Johnson, of Arlington, and Jane M. Hall, and husband, Lee, of Fort Worth; a sister, Velma Peters, of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a daughter in-law, Laura Yates, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and other family members.
Mrs. Yates was preceded in death by her husband, James Elmer Yates; and by a son, James William Yates.
