The Boys and Girls Club of Lampasas has scheduled basketball registrations from now through today and has scheduled its draft and coaches training for Saturday.

Anyone interested in participating can stop by the Boys and Girls Club office from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The drafts (not tryouts) are scheduled for Saturday following the coaches training.

The coaches training, which is held in conjunction with Kids Sports Network, is a mandatory three-hour course. There is another training session scheduled for Dec. 15.

Coaches who complete the training receive certification, a $1 million general liability insurance policy and a $25,000 medical accident policy. To sign up for coaches training, call Terri Been, Cindy Harris or Delores Linton at 564-1669.
