Freshman boys pick up first win

The Lampasas High School freshman boys' basketball team captured its first victory of the season last Tuesday with a 41-24 win against Killeen Ellison.

The Badgers (1-2) outscored the Eagles in three of the four quarters and jumped out a 24-12 halftime lead.

Colton Perkins led the Badger attack with 19 points. Miguel Uvalle added eight, and Caleb Morrow scored six.

Lake Travis 8th 54, LHS A 19: Bailey Millican scored six points and recorded four blocks in a losing effort on Nov. 19.

Tanner Swinford scored five points and registered three assists and two rebounds. Brandon Scott and Lucas Atkison both registered four points and four rebounds. John York had two blocks, and Dalton Moore and Josh Valles had four rebounds apiece.
