Ms. Trist

Patti Ann Allen Trist of Lampasas died Nov. 24, 2007, at her brother's residence. She was 51.

Visitation is Nov. 27 from 6-8 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. Graveside services are Nov. 28 at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas with the Rev. Josh Crutchfield officiating.

Ms. Trist was born June 17, 1956, in Lampasas, the daughter of John Thomas Allen Sr. and Shirley Gaddy Blair.

She attended schools in Lampasas and had lived in the community most of her life. She was a Baptist and homeamker. Ms. Trist enjoyed woodworking, sewing and cooking.

Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Myers, of Lampasas; four sons, Christopher Fuqua, of Angleton, Doug Hall, of Bryan, and Bryan Rogers and Joseph Vessels, both of Lampasas; her mother of San Saba; her father of Lampasas; a grandmother, Ellen Gaddy, of Lampasas; her former husband, Nicholas Trist, of Lampasas; one sister, Shirley Bestine, of Austin; two brothers, Tommy Allen, of Adamsville, and Jimmy Allen, of Lampasas; four grandchildren, Christopher Moreno, Steven Moreno, Cody Crofoot and Morgan Hall; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Ms. Trist was preceded in death by a daughter, Shannon Hall, in 1980; and by a brother, Richard Dale Allen.
