Null leads nation in 3 categories

Former Badger and current West Texas A&M quarterback Keith Null heads into Saturday's NCAA Division II second-round playoff game against national power Northwest Missouri leading the nation in passing yards per game, total yards per game and touchdown passes.

Null, who missed two games because of an ankle injury, has thrown for 3,774 yards, averaging a national best 377.4 per game. He also leads the nation in total offense at 371 yards per game and in touchdown passes with 39.

Null threw six touchdowns in the second half of a come-from-behind first-round playoff win against Washburn last week. He also threw for a career-high 498 yards.
