FD drive set

The Lampasas Fire Department is seeking money, new toys, new bikes and nonperishable food to be distributed to local needy families for the holidays.

Those seeking items need to sign up at local churches no later than Dec. 3.

Goods will be distributed Dec. 8 from 8 a.m. to noon to those who have registered.

Lometa applicants should sign up with the Lometa Volunteer Fire Department. Donations are accepted at City Hall.

Kempner applicants should sign up at the Kempner Volunteer Fire Department, and donations may be left at the Walter L. Prugh Fire Station weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
