Mrs. Hines

Former Lometa resident Bonnie Mae Hines, 94, of Gatesville died Nov. 18, 2007, at The Meadows in Gatesville.

Funeral services were Nov. 20 at Stacy-Wilkins Chapel in Goldthwaite with Brother Doug Holtzclaw officiating. Burial followed at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Hines was born May 21, 1913, in Mills County, to Drew L. and Rebecca Bonapart Wheeler.

She married Marion Fields Hines on Sept. 1, 1934, at Fort Worth.

Mrs. Hines moved to Gatesville from Lometa 37 years ago.

She was a member of Live Oak Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Greg and Betty Hines, of Gatesville; and two grandchildren, Toby Karl Hines, of San Antonio, and Tannon Reese Hines, of Austin.

Mrs. Hines was preceded in death by her husband; by three brothers, Harlson Wheeler, D.L. Wheeler and Ross Wheeler; and two sisters, Ruth Simpson and Wilma Kauhs.

Pallbearers were Jack Maxwell, Less Reaves, Jerry Casey, Ted Satcher, Carrol Shirley and Marvin Gloksin.
