Loyd Steudeman

Loyd Steudeman of Ardmore, Okla., died Nov. 16, 2007, at his daughter's residence in Lampasas. he was 80.

Funeral services are Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. at Crystal Rock Cathedral in Ardmore with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Ardmore.

Mr. Steudeman was born April 15, 1927, in Ardmore, the son of Ernest and Rosie Gray Steudeman.

He married Virginia Louise Sons on Oct. 10, 1949, in Ardmore.

Mr. Steudeman worked for Pruitts Produce and was retired from the city of Ardmore's Street Department.

He enjoyed working in his yard, playing dominoes, visiting friends and playing with his grandchildren. He also loved windchimes.

Survivors include daughters and their husbands, Shirley and Mike McCoy, of Lampasas; and Stacy and Wes Buford, of Kempner; a sister, Evelyn Wright; a brother, Roy Steudeman; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife; three brothers, Clinton, Hubert and Robert; a sister, Ruth; a daughter, Stella Christian; and a granddaughter, Martha McCoy.
