Museum's Veterans Day exhibit closes after Saturday show

In honor of Veterans Day, Keystone Square Museum has organized a special display of objects and photographs from its collection relating to World War II.

Objects on view include a 48-star flag, a WWII Army Air Corps cadet uniform, and photographs of WWII soldiers on the Pacific Coast.

In addition, Lampasas resident and veteran Merritt Romans has compiled an extensive biographical history of Lampasas County veterans of all wars.

Veterans are organized alphabetically in binders on tables, and the public is encouraged to spend time browsing through the volumes to learn about the men and women who have served.

Forms are on hand for veterans who are not included in the county history.

The exhibit, "A Salute to the Men and Women of the Armed Forces," will close Saturday.

Hours are Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and by appointment. Admission is free. Donations are welcome.
