Veterans Day event
Local residents observed Veterans Day with the traditional wreathlaying ceremony. Placing the wreath on the war memorial at the Lampasas County Courthouse were, from left, Bob Wright, American Legion Post 287 adjutant; Leo Perkins, a World War II veteran and former prisoner of war; and CSM Lawrence Wilson, the event's keynote speaker.
