DAR chapter plans Tuesday meeting

The Thomas Huling Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas will meet Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Stonetree Restaurant in Killeen.

Peggy Parsons will give the program on her ancestor, Zachary Davis. Visitors are welcome.

DAR was represented in the recent city of Killeen Veterans Day Parade with a red car and riders waving American flags.

The annual event is held to honor U.S. veterans who served from World War II through the Iraq War.
