Author makes book presentation at local DRT chapter meeting

Kiddo Cards to be offered on Saturday
      Sgt. Chuck Montgomery of the Lampasas Police Department will offer Kiddo Cards to youths Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the local Wal-Mart Super Center. Montgomery will be stationed in the store's photo department. Kiddo Cards are used for identification in case a child goes missing.

      Colorado River CattleWomen helped sponsor a recent 4-H grilling demonstration given by Lampasas County Extension Agent Jason Byrd. CattleWomen purchased the beef and seasonings used in the demonstration. Byrd spoke about meat safety, meat temperatures and different cuts of meat.
