Null throws 4 TDs, captures LSC title

Former Badger Keith Null threw for 462 yards and four touchdowns in leading West Texas A&M to its third straight Lone Star Conference title with a 39-14 win against Tarleton State at Stephenville on Saturday.

Null, who missed the previous two games with a sprained ankle, ran the No. 4 Buffaloes' record to 11-0 and improved his career record as a starter to 10-0. WTAMU will play host to Washburn (8-3) in the opening round of the NCAA Division II playoffs on Saturday.

Trinity 41, Austin College 13: Former Badger Chris Coleman caught four passes for 86 yards and a touchdown as Trinity captured a share of the Southern Collegiate Athletics Conference title on Saturday.

No. 13 Trinity (9-1) will play No. 3 University of Mary Hardin- Baylor (9-1) in the opening round of the NCAA Division II playoffs on Saturday in Belton.

UMHB, the American Southwest Conference champion, is coming off a 70-20 win at Howard Payne on Saturday.

For Mary Hardin-Baylor, former Badger Kristen Leverett has 10 solo tackles and 16 assists for 26 total tackles, and his twin brother Kirsten has registered two solos and two assists.
