Badger rally falls
short
After falling behind 21-0 early in the second
quarter, the Lampasas High School football team outscored Dripping Springs 21-7
for the remainder of the game in a 28-21 season-finale loss on Friday at Badger
Field.
Jarrod Bowen scored on a 62-yard pass from Vann
Millican, and Brode DuBose rushed for two touchdowns.
The Badgers (0-10, 0-7) were driving for the tying
touchdown in the closing minutes, but a holding call forced the offense into a
long-yardage situation, and Millican threw an interception that all but sealed
the game. Millican threw for 170 yards on the night, while Bowen and DuBose
combined for 124 on the ground.
Dripping Springs finished the season 3-7 overall
and 1-6 in District 25-4A. | |||||
