60th anniversary to be celebrated this weekend

Jo and Lamar Bear will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at a Nov. 11 reception at Primitive Baptist Church at Burnet.

The Bears were married Nov. 15, 1947, in Lampasas.

The event will be hosted by their children, Nancy Thomas, Dixie Harrison and Doris Barker; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
