Our county employees, fire departments are caring people

We recently had two small grass fires of unknown origin that started on the highway and burned onto our property. Two Lampasas County employees, Brad and Dean, stopped to try to put out one of the fires using the extinguisher on their truck and shovels. Because of their concern, they had quite a bit of that fire out by the time the Adamsville Volunteer Fire Department arrived. Between the quick response of the fire department and the caring attitude of the county employees, the two fires were extinguished fairly quickly.

We would like to express our thankfulness and gratitude to the county employees and the Adamsville Fire Department. We are proud to be part of a county that has such caring people.
