At the recent open house at the Lometa Senior Center, Vela Booker, left, center director, was recognized with a plaque honoring her for 30 years of service to Hill Country Community Action Association. The presentation was made by Clovia Ketchum, HCCAA representative. Mrs. Booker has served as director for the Lometa Senior Center for 26 years.
