Heights Band concert set; Badgers also to perform

The public is invite to attend this year's free Veterans Day Concert Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Bozarth-Fowler Gym.

The Heights Band, under the direction of Carlton R. Morris, will entertain. Their repertoire includes military marches, overtures, Broadway show tunes, trios, solos and popular songs.

A grand finale will include the Lampasas High School Badger Band, directed by Richard Hooper. They will present a musical tribute to the nation's veterans.

Prior to the concert, Lampasas Band Parents will offer its annual Baked Potato Supper in the high school band room.

A suggested donation of $5 will benefit the district's band programs.
