Mrs. Tidwell

Anna Tidwell
Funeral services for Anna Rasp Tidwell, 81, of Lampasas were Oct. 31, 2007, at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas with Minister Reid Schaub officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Tidwell died Oct. 29 at Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas.

She was born June 16, 1926, in Degerndorf, West Germany, the daughter of Johann and Anna Hennauer Rasp.

Mrs. Tidwell was a homemaker and enjoyed working at the original Cheese Chalet and for local school lunchrooms.

She married Calvin Virgil Tidwell on Feb. 19, 1953, in Munich, Germany.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Crofford, and husband, Wayne, and Debby Bowden, and husband, Eddie, all of Lampasas; two sons, Clifford Tidwell, and wife, Jennifer, of Lampasas, and William (Billy) Tidwell, and wife, Maureen, of El Paso; one sister, Mary Sheppach, of Bavaria, Germany; three brothers, Sepp Rasp, Max Rasp and Martin Rasp, all of Bavaria; 13 grandchildren, Crystal, Maurine, Amy, Jenny, Ty, Kelli, Tammy, Kimberly, Kenny, Wesley, Justin, Karla and Victoria; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Cindy; and two brothers, Louis Rasp and Hans Rasp.

The family requested memorials be made to the Lampasas Public Library.
