Lampasas quilter takes award at Goldthwaite

Jean Brooks of Lampasas was a winner in the Goldthwaite Quilt Show.

Jean Brooks of Lampasas earned honors for her quilt, "Sunset and Evening Stars," in the recent quilt show in Goldthwaite.

Visitors voted, awarding Mrs. Brooks a third-place finish in the contemporary division.

Mrs. Brooks, who recently moved to Lampasas with her family, is a member of Courthouse Steps Quilters in Goldthwaite, the show's sponsor.
