Jail sentence assessed for criminal non-support A two-year sentence in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division was handed down to Alonzo Moses Botello, 39, of Lampasas on a charge of criminal non-support. Action came recently in Judge Joe Carroll's 27th District Courtroom. Also recently, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Jaime Rodriguez when the 29-year-old Lampasan failed to show up for court. His bond was increased to $100,000. Rodriguez is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. In a case of theft over $20,000 and under $100,000, Fred John Beezer, 65, of San Antonio was given 10 years' deferred adjudication probation and ordered to pay restitution of $39,220. He also must pay a $1,000 fine. Michael Joseph Schornak was given five years' deferred adjudication probation and a $1,500 fine for burglary of a habitation. The 28- year-old Fort Hood resident also must pay $200 in restitution. For burglary of a building, Christopher Noel Dueno, 17, had the charge punished as a misdemeanor. He received two years' deferred probation and a $350 fine. Dueno also must pay $750 restitution. A third review of 41-year-old Copperas Cove resident Jayne Caroline Boyle's charge of driving while intoxicated with a child passenger was rescheduled to Nov. 9. Edward Lloyd Patterson, 25, of Brownwood is expected to enter a plea Nov. 9 for possession of a con- trolled substance, methamphetamine. Lometa resident Lucila Garcia, 45, faces a punishment hearing on Nov. 9 for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. And a pretrial hearing is slated Nov. 9 for Killeen resident Erika Charles, 27. She is charged with forgery. Nov. 16 adjudication hearings are on the docket for Tammy Lorine McCullough, 39, of Kempner for possession of a controlled substance; and for Jacob Levi Vasquez, 23, for burglary of a habitation. Rhonda Lanette Kolanek, 34, of Arlington is to enter a plea Dec. 7 for possession of a controlled substance. A presentence investigation was ordered. Almond Gerod Lively, 41, of San Saba is set for jury trial Dec. 10 on his charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Other Dec. 10 trials are on the docket for Fredrick Lionel Miller, 49, for burglary of a habitation; and Monica Sanchez, 30, for bond jumping. Patricia Diane Rudd's second review was reset to Jan. 18 for her charge of prohibited substance in a correctional facility. The 34-yearold is a resident of Granite Shoals. Jan. 28 jury trials are scheduled for Jeremy Mathurin, 22, of Austin for criminal attempt; Richard Guy Jensen, 44, of Copperas Cove for aggravated assault/threat with a deadly weapon; and Joseph Eric Sutton, 31, of Lampasas for assault/ family enhanced. |
