Local law enforcement officials note arrests
      The following arrests have been reported by law enforcement officials. Oct. 24 -- Nancy Sue McAdams, 53, of Lampasas for possession of marijuana under two ounces. She was still in the Lampasas County Jail at press time Thursday morning.

Jail sentence assessed for criminal non-support
      A two-year sentence in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division was handed down to Alonzo Moses Botello, 39, of Lampasas on a charge of criminal non-support. Action came recently in Judge Joe Carroll's 27th District Courtroom.
