Food drive, chili supper to be held

Lampasas Mission will be the beneficiary of a Nov. 2, non-perishable food drive and money collection.

Drop-offs will be open at several locations in the community.

* * * A fund-raising chili dinner is Nov. 17 from noon to 2 p.m. at Grace Fellowship, 2974 U.S. Highway 281 South.

All-you-can-eat chili and homemade cobbler is $5 per plate.

Tickets are available at First Baptist Church office, Lampasas Builders Mart or Shooting Star Books & Gifts.

A silent auction is set, with viewing of items slated to begin at 11 a.m.

All proceeds will benefit Lampasas Mission, a non-profit Christian community service for Lampasas County.
