Connally shuts out Badgers, 38-0

PFLUGERVILLE -- The Lampasas Badgers fell to 0-6 overall and 0-4 in District 25-4A with a 38-0 road loss against Pflugerville Connally on Friday.

Connally (5-2, 4-0) will face Lake Travis (6-1, 4-0) for the district lead next week at Lake Travis. Lampasas will play host to Pflugerville Hendrickson.

Connally took advantage of five Lampasas turnovers, and quarterback Darius Darks ran for 158 yards and two touchdowns.

Lampasas was led by running backs Melvin Batiste and Brode DuBose. Batiste carried six times for 76 yards, and DuBose carried 16 times for 51 yards.
