Group slates forum for hunters near FM 580

The management association of the Donaldson Creek Wildlife Group is scheduled to meet on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Gordon Chapin's Gravel Hill Ranch, on County Road 1225 about two miles north of FM 580 West.

Information about last season's accomplishments will be discussed, including increased antler size and conditions.

Local officials will discuss and answer any questions regarding deer management. Those officials will explain how to recognize the differences in antler sizes as deer grow older.

Door prizes from several local businesses will be awarded by drawing.

Newcomers are eligible to receive prizes.
