Troy dismantles North Texas, 45-7

Lampasas graduate Brock Stickler caught one pass for 6 yards in the University of North Texas' 45-7 loss to Troy on Saturday.

The loss dropped North Texas to 1-6 overall and 1-3 in the Sun Belt Conference. Troy improved to 5-2, 4-0.

On the year, Stickler has caught 22 passes for 246 yards and a touchdown.

Trinity University 42, University of the South-Sewanee 7: Lampasas graduate Chris Coleman had the biggest game of his collegiate career in leading Trinity to a decisive win on Saturday.

Coleman caught seven passes for 127 yards, including an 11-yard touchdown that put Trinity up 14-0. No. 22 Trinity improves to 6-1 overall, 3-1 in the Southern Colle- giate Athletics Conference.

On the year, Coleman has caught 28 passes for 476 yards and two touchdowns.

UMHB 69, Mississippi College 30: The second-ranked Cru remained unbeaten with a decisive road win on Saturday.

Lampasas graduate Kristen Leverett recorded three tackles for UMHB (7-0 overall, 5-0 in the American Southwest Conference). On the year, Kristen Leverett has eight solo tackles and 14 assists, and his brother Kirsten has a solo and two assists.
