ABWA to showcase speaker

The recently elected national president of the American Business Women's Association, Lina Lawson, will be the featured guest speaker at the Nov. 8 meeting of the Central Texas ABWA Council.

An eight-year member, Ms. Lawson belongs to ABWA's Leading Women Express Network in Bryan and Bryan/ College Station Charter Chapter in College Station.

She was named 2007 American Business Woman of ABWA, the association's highest honor. She is co-owner and senior designer of Twinz Co. Graphic Design in Bryan.

The meeting is set at the Howard Johnson Hotel in Killeen, 803 E. Central Texas Expwy, hosted by Dynamis Chapter of Killeen. Election and installation of 2007-08 council officers is on the agenda.'

Networking begins at 6 p.m., with dinner and the business meeting at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $21 per person. RSVPs are due by Nov. 2. Checks should be payable to Dynamis Chapter and mailed to P.O. Box 10874, Killeen, TX 76549.
