Early voting under way

Early voting in the Nov. 6 election that includes 16 constitutional amendments and $20 million in bond funding for construction of a new county jail continues through Nov. 2 each weekday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the office of the County Elections Administrator, 412 S. Live Oak on Courtyard Square.

The last day to apply for a ballot by mail is Oct. 30.

On election day, voters will be able to cast ballots at the following locations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Some polling places have been combined for the election.

• Precinct 1: Clear Creek Baptist Church.

• Precincts 2, 3 and 4: Lampasas High School Library.

• Precinct 5: Adamsville Community Center.

• Precinct 6: Nix Community Center.

• Precincts 7 and 9: Lometa City Hall.

• Precincts 8 and 10: Kempner Fire Department Training Center.
