The Lampasas High School volleyball team will close out its first season under head coach Tracey Myers tonight at Pflugerville Connally at 7 p.m.
The Lady Badgers (9-24, 1-12) are coming off a 25-17, 25-12, 25- 19 loss at Dripping Springs on Tuesday.
"The girls played well," Myers said. "We made a couple of bad serves, and that gave Dripping Springs momentum, but we played well defensively all night.
"I was pleased with the way our girls played against a group of girls that has been playing club ball together since they were young."
The Lady Badgers were swept by Connally when the Lady Cougars traveled to Lampasas on Sept. 25.
"I just want these girls to finish the year strong," the coach said. "It's the last ball game of the season, and I want these girls to finish the season working hard."
The freshman "A" team lost its first game against Dripping Springs but rallied for a 21-25, 25-17, 25- 15 win.
