Send-off
      The Lampasas High School Booster Club will be at Star Propane on Highway 281 at 4 p.m. today to give the football team a send-off. Members plan to bring signs and goody bags for the players. Anyone is invited to attend. The club plans to do this for every road game.

Badgers want to do winning push-ups this week

      It was a confusing sight at first glance. A bunch of kids who had just absorbed a 58-14 loss doing push-ups on the opponent's field after the game. Then, those same kids searching out parents, friends and teammates to walk off the field joking and laughing.

Volleyball closes out season tonight
      The Lampasas High School volleyball team will close out its first season under head coach Tracey Myers tonight at Pflugerville Connally at 7 p.m. The Lady Badgers (9-24, 1-12) are coming off a 25-17, 25-12, 25- 19 loss at Dripping Springs on Tuesday.

      The Lampasas boys' and girls' cross country teams finished second and sixth, respectively, at the Priddy Cross Country Meet on Wednesday. The meet marked the teams' final tuneups for the District 25-4A Meet, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at LHS.
