County 4-H members share foods

As part of the Lampasas County Extension Office's foods and nutrition project, families in Lampasas County brought foods to the Extension office from Italy, Mexico, Germany and China to share.

A fruit and veggie workshop was recently held, with everyone bringing their favorite related dish. Also, fresh fruit and vegetables were donated to the Lampasas Senior Center and other places as a community service project.

The annual County Food Show is Oct. 28. Recipes are due by Monday.
