Revival set at Adamsville

Adamsville Baptist Church members are hosting a revival Sunday through Oct. 26. Sunday services are at 11 a.m., followed by a covered dish lunch. Nightly services are at 7 p.m. A love offering will be received at each service.
Dr. Jeff Johnson of New Braunfels will be the evangelist. He is a graduate of the Texas A&M Class of 1983, and holds two doctorates from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and the University of Jerusalem.
Johnson is on staff at Baptist University of the Americas in San Antonio and has preached internationally, served as a missionary and pastored churches in Oklahoma and Texas.
He and his wife, Molly, have three daughters.
Music evangelist will be Curtis James of Sherman, founder and president of Common Belief Ministries.
James has served churches in Oklahoma and Texas as youth, music and education minister.
He has led music in Australia, Spain, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and throughout the U.S., and has sung on international television and leads worship for thousands each year.
James' drama scripts have been published in numerous languages on every continent, and he has been audio technician for artists such as Dennis Jernigan and the Newsboys.
James and his wife, Kilyn, have two sons.
Adamsville Baptist Church is on U.S. Highway 281 North, 18 miles north of Lampasas. A nursery will be provided for each service. Glynn Tyson is the pastor.
