In remembrance
At the recent Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce mixer at Diamond G Concepts, a flag-raising ceremony was held in memory of Mark Moreau. The U.S. flag was flown over Iraq by Sgt. Nadeau and was raised by Patrick McCurdy, Travis Matthews and Kimberly Nadeau, wife of the soldier who sent the flag from Iraq. The mixer also featured a prayer, a presentation by State Rep. Jimmy Don Aycock, talks by County Judge Wayne Boultinghouse, who shared his thoughts on community support of Fort Hood, and Lampasas Mayor Judy Hetherly, who offered a state of the city address. Refreshments also were served.
