Biker Rally set for this weekend

The Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Lampasas County Historic Fire House Run Biker Rally on Saturday behind Country Inn, at the intersection of U.S. Highways 190, 281 and 183. All bikers are welcome.

A number of activities will be offered, including a motorcycle parade, Fire Run historic firehouse tour of Lampasas County, fire safety education, a chili cookoff, horseshoe tournament, bike games, bike show, vendors, dinner, a bonfire and live bands.

A blessing of the bikes will be Sunday at 8 a.m.

Registration today is from 5- 10 p.m. Fee is $25 per person, which includes all activities, an event T-shirt and dinner.

Free tent camping on site is available today and Saturday for any registered biker.

Registration forms are also at the chamber office, 205 South U.S. 281, or they can be downloaded at www.lampasaschamber.org . Entry is available on event day.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Lampasas County fire departments.
