Project Grad to offer trick or treat alternative

I, like many others in this community, was very disappointed when the Courtyard Square Association decided not to have trick or treat on the square. My family lives out in the country with no nearby neighbors. We have been "doing the square" since the early '90s. I understand it is expensive to try to sugar up the county. I definitely see the association's reasoning.

I just found out Project Graduation for the Class of 2008 is having a Halloween Carnival on Saturday, Oct. 27 at the high school track from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Prayers are answered! What an awesome activity that benefits all our kids.

Way to go, Project Graduation! You must all be superhuman to pull off a carnival with such short notice!
