Mr. Sowell

Eddie Dewayne Sowell, 42, died Oct. 11, 2007, at his Lampasas residence.

A memorial service is Oct. 16 at 1 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. The body will be cremated.

Mr. Sowell was born Jan. 29, 1965, in Selmer, Tenn., the son of Clyde Sowell and Dorothy Smith.

He married Joyce Belcher on Aug. 31, 1996. Mr. Sowell was a painter.

Survivors include his wife of Lampasas; his father of Tennessee; his mother, Dorothy Davis, of Lampasas; a son, Stephen Sowell, of Copperas Cove; a daughter, Samantha Sowell, of Copperas Cove; brothers, C.J. Sowell, of Copperas Cove, Brian Thornton, of Virginia, and William Davis, of Lampasas; sisters, Kimberly Davis, of Lampasas, and Monica Sowell, Mona Sowell, Lena Jean Sowell and Judy Sowell, all of Tennessee; and a granddaughter, Ellie Mac Sowell.
