Teams combine for more than 100 points in the Hornets' win

      The Lometa football team bounced back in a big way from its loss to May with a 61-44 win at Bynum last Friday. The Hornets (4-2) are scheduled to play host to Woodson in a Homecoming affair at 7:30 tonight. "Woodson's a very good team," Hornets coach Wendell Bradley said.

      The Lampasas High School Booster Club will be at Star Propane on Highway 281 at 4 p.m. today to give the football team a send-off. Members plan to bring signs and goody bags for the players. Anyone is invited to attend. The club plans to do this for every road game.
