Locks of Love
Lampasas student Michaela Ellison donated 10 inches of her hair to Locks of Love in August. The foundation assists disadvantaged children suffering from medical hair loss. Most recipients suffer from alopecia areata, an autoimmune disease, with no known cause or cure. Other recipients are cancer survivors, victims of trauma such as burns, and rare dermatological conditions that result in permanent hair loss. To donate, contact www.Locksoflove.com.
