      Funeral services for Odell Hunt, 80, of Sweetwater were held Sept. 27, 2007, at Fourth and Elm Street Church of Christ with Joe Bagby and Jim Wilks officiating. Graveside services were at Payne Gap Cemetery in Mills County near Goldthwaite with Brother Doyle Combs officiating.

      Funeral services for Michael Vincent Leggett of Palestine were Oct. 9, 2007, at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel in Palestine. Burial followed at Land of Memory Cemetery. Mr. Leggett died Oct. 5 at his residence. He was 51.

Mr. Underwood
      Leeman Underwood Jr., 82, of Lampasas died Oct. 8, 2007, at his residence. Graveside services are Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. at Pioneer Cemetery near Pioneer. Mr. Underwood was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from Phillips Petroleum. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Lampasas.
