      Luis Capallera intercepted three passes, and the LHS junior varsity White defense held strong in a win against the Bulldogs on Thursday. Burnet's only score came via field goal in the opening quarter after the first of two LHS goal-line stands.

Cross country finishes strong at Temple Meet
      The Lampasas boys' and girls' cross country teams finished third and fourth, respectively, at the Temple Meet on Saturday. Ryan Tedford placed seventh in a field of 39 runners to lead the Badgers. Brandon Willie finished 10th, Jonathan Lohmann 15th, Michael Fisher 21st and Lane Christianson 27th.
