Shed fire determined to be arson

Lampasas Fire Department responded to a call of a fire at Hanna Springs Intermediate School Sunday at 6:58 p.m.

When firemen arrived, smoke was showing, and flames were visible from one of two storage sheds that contained yard supplies adjacent to the school campus.

The fire was determined to be arson and is under investigation by Lampasas Fire Marshal Reece Oestreich.

The building was a loss.

Five fire units responded and were on the scene just over 30 minutes. Lampasas Police Department officials also responded.
